I have over five years experience providing counselling services in diverse environments including shelters, healthcare settings, and clinics. I have experience in palliative care, supporting patients and families experiencing grief and loss. I provide services to clients from various racial, ethnic, cultural, and socio economic backgrounds.
My goal is to work alongside clients and empower them to be the best version of themselves by focusing on holistic healing and emotional regulation. I believe learning to cope with challenges is what creates resiliency and strength. Every individual is unique and the counselling approaches that I use are evidence-based and tailored to respect the needs and goals of each client.
I use a curious, empathetic, and empowering approach when working with clients. I strive to create authentic, therapeutic relationships where clients feel safe, valued, heard, and understood. Life can be difficult, but the incredible stories of over coming adversity, self-discovery, and transformation make us who we are.
