About Me
As a registered social worker I have experience in Indigenous Child welfare, supporting families in strengthening relationships, creating stability and connecting to the community. Alongside my trauma-informed care and mental health experience, I am a student and teacher of yoga. I integrate the teachings of yoga to foster emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual balance, offering a holistic and trauma-informed approach to healing and developing resilience.
My Approach
My approach blends social work and yoga to support mental health and emotional wellbeing. Through holistic approaches of social work, breathwork, and body awareness, clients learn to regulate their nervous system, manage stress, and cultivate resilience. When balance is restored to the nervous system, there can be greater calm, focus, and emotional steadiness in everyday life.
